If you are interested in visiting Nepal as a volunteer, send a mail (see 'Contact') and we can give you information about how to help FCWC and other organisations.

Even if you are visiting Nepal on holiday, we can give you useful information and you can be sure that the children will give you a wonderful welcome.

The children love to have visitors and even a brief visit means a lot to them.  If you have more time, there is always a need for people to help the children with their English, organise games and outings, arrange simple healthcare and, above all, to give them the love and attention they deserve.

Here are some stories of our enthusiastic volunteers in Nepal.

Barbara Bouwans  (November 2006) - Belgium

Amalia Schreier & Leora Resnick (Mai - July 2007) - Israel

Barbara Van Elst (September 2007) - Belgium

Peter Peelen (September 2007) - Belgium

Ulrike Lakiere & Steve Dubois (October 2007) - Belgium

Thanks again to all our volunteers!

This year we are also doing an appeal for volunteers in Belgium. We are looking for people who can give some of their time to help with:

  • starting the legal charity in the form of a vzw

  • organising fundraising (volunteer Sven came up with the idea of a jeneverbar on the Christmas market in Ghent!)

  • presenting the project in schools and youth movements

  • mailing and administrative work

Do you think you could help? Don't hesitate to contact us!
