Freedom Children Welfare Center (FCWC) is a Nepalese NGO, created in September 2005 by Kamala Maya Tamang.
The Nepalese name for the project is Mukti Bal Kalyen Kindra.

Freedom Children Welfare Center  accomodates children, who, for several reasons can't be raised by their parents. Some parents are deceased, killed because of the civil war, imprisoned, extremely poor or socially excluded. The children who are adopted by the center get chances that they probably never would have. They are nourished, taken care of, go to school and are able to play free of worries.

We aim for these children to be given a new home in a family atmosphere. The children are fed and clothed, have a safe place to sleep, and have the medical care they need.

It is our ambition to offer the children the chance of having an education, allowing them to be fully integrated in Nepalese life, to have a job and to be independent.
